Job Overview
As a Help Desk Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to LLS staff, ensuring that computer systems, software, and hardware are operating smoothly. This is a remote position, giving you the flexibility to work from home while supporting a meaningful cause.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Provide first-level technical support for internal staff via phone, email, and chat
✅ Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
✅ Assist with setting up user accounts, passwords, and permissions
✅ Document and track issues using a help desk ticketing system
✅ Escalate complex issues to higher-level support when needed
✅ Provide user training and guidance on company systems and software
What You Need to Succeed
✔️ Strong technical knowledge of computer systems and networks
✔️ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
✔️ Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
✔️ Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems
✔️ Familiarity with help desk software and remote desktop support tools
✔️ Prior experience in IT support or help desk roles is preferred but not required
